11 Mar 2008 - It’s the fantastic four as Copleston girls march on to the finals

It was a great day last Sunday, 9^th March, as the Copleston girls under 12’s and under 15’s both won their cup semi finals to advance to the final. The under 10’s and under 11’s had already booked their place for Cup Final Day at Framlingham  Town on Sunday April 20^th.

The under 13’s and under 14’s unfortunately lost out in their semi final ties but had been unlucky with the draw having to face to two best teams in their leagues.

The line up for the finals on April the 20^th is

Under 10’s                   Copleston Girls FC v Brandon Lasses

Under 11’s                   Copleston Girls FC v Waveney A  

Under12’s                    Copleston Girls FC v Little Oakley    

Under13’s                    Waveney v Brandon Lasses

Under 14’s                   Woodbridge v Brandon lasses

Under 15’s                   Copleston Girls FC v Debenham LC

Under 16’s                   Bury  Town v Whitton United

This is a great achievement for our club to have four teams in the cup final. We have more teams involved then any other club in the leagues. Well done to all the girls and the management teams from each club. Sunday April 20^th promises to be a great day in the history of Copleston Girls Football Club. Let’s get as many parents and supporters there as we can and cheer on our beloved Sky Blues to greater glory.
