14 Jan 2008 - Match Report. Sunday 13th January 2008 – Copleston U15 V Debenham U15

Against a good Debenham side, this was always going to be a tough game.  But with just nine players available on the day and with a strong wind against us in the second half, Copleston ran out of steam and Debenham ran out winners.

Two nil down at half time, the wind gave Debenham an extra advantage in the second half.  But the girls kept their heads up, carried on playing good football and were rewarded when Siobhan scored her eleventh goal of the season.  Not bad, out of a total of sixteen!

There were good individual performances today from Alysha and Courtney in particular, but Leah deservedly won ‘Girl of the Game.’  Well done Leah. 

Paul and I were proud of the team work and effort from everyone today.

I still think this is going to be our cup year!
